Media please note: MCCN Closure
The Marine Coastal Community Network (MCCN) has received confirmation from the Australian Government that our contract with them will not be renewed, so after 15 years, MCCN say farewell...for now.
As of July 1 2008 the operations of the MCCN including MCCN’s national office at Chowder Bay, NSW will be maintained by a small team of volunteer workers. However, this website will remain active and refreshed whilst a new source of funding is secured.
Until MCCN powers up again, with a new source of funding, we encourage you to browse through and download articles & resources of interest to you, including MCCN’s flagship WAVES magazine, back issues of Wetstuff-News, Currents (Asia-Pacific) E-News, State E-News, and MCCN’s other publications and resources, and articles contributed by some of MCCN’s 10,000+ participants on various marine and coastal issues and articles covering a diverse range of topics on marine and coastal management.
We encourage you to stay interested in marine & coastal conservation and sustainability – our oceans and coasts need your support, interest and care.
