About the Blue Pages Directory

The following is a brief summary on searching the Directory and how to create and manage your own Blue Pages listing.  If you have any questions about the Directory or encounter any problems submitting or updating a listing then please contact us

Searching the Blue Pages

There are four ways to search for listings in the Blue Pages Directory:

  1. Search Listings: this page provides the greatest number of options for searching the Directory.  It allows you to perform a more advanced search.

  2. Listings by State: if you wish to find all the listings in a particular state or search for national listings then you can do so using this page.  When searching for national listings ensure that the State drop down menu is set to “Any State” and the National Listings Only box is “checked”.

  3. Listings by Category: if you are interested in a particular category (or type) of listing, e.g. Australian Government Departments, then you can use the drop down Category list on this page to search for listings of a particular type.  Some category types have been further differentiated with a Sub Category.  Note that not all listings will have sub-categories.

  4. Listings by Name: listings have been grouped alphabetically according to the first word in the listing’s name.  You may wish to search this way if you already know the name of the group/organisation/business etc you wish to find.

When you have found the listing(s) of interest, you can find out more detailed information about the organisation or group by simply clicking on the Listing Name.  You can retrieve information about what the group does and how to contact them.

To make it even easier the Blue Pages allows you to Contact the listing directly by clicking on the Email us button.  This will generate an inquiry form that will be sent to the email address provided by the Blue Pages member.  If no email address has been provided by the member then this option is not available.

Individual listings and listing searches can also be downloaded as Adobe PDF documents by clicking the links provided, i.e. To download a PDF version of this page click here

Becoming listed in the Blue Pages

To become listed in the Directory please complete our online registration form.  Once submitted, your listing will be reviewed by the Blue Pages Team who may contact you if they require further information.  Remember to make a note of your Username and Password so that you can manage your listing online in the future.  All non-commercial listings in the Blue Pages Directory are FREE.  Marine and coastal related businesses are also welcome to apply but are subject to a nominal listing fee, which helps MCCN to publish printed copies of the Directory.

Need help registering?

To assist you with completing the Blue Pages registration page the following provides an overview of some of the different fields on the form:

The name you wish to appear in the directory.  Note: if you are part of a larger organisation then put you branch or department name here.

Name of Agency or Organisation
If you are part of an agency or organisation then put that name here.  For example, a state branch of a national organisation would enter the name of the branch in Listing Name field and then the name of the national organisation that they are part of in this field.

Choose a category from the drop down list that best describes what your group or organisation is.

Sub Category
Some categories have been divided to further describe your listing.  This option is not available for all Listing Category selections.

National Listing?
If you are a national listing then please select 'yes'.

Provide a short description about what your organisation or group does or is responsible for.  Please keep your description to less than 50 words.

If you would like to display your logo with your listing then please upload the image using the “Browse” button.  To keep the Directory efficient MCCN needs to ask you to limit the size of your logo to less than 350 KB in size.

Login Details
Choose a User name and Password for your listing.  You will need to make a note of these so that you can log in to the Blue Pages members page and update your listing in the future.
