Marine & Coastal News Asia - Pacific Region
MCCN is pleased to announce that from January 2008, we will introduce a new service (free) to interested participants.
MCCN’s Currents E-News service will report monthly via email, on news stories of marine and coastal issues, covering: Pacific Island nations, including countries in the three regions of Melanesia (west), Polynesia (southeast) and Micronesia (north), Eastern Asia (including: China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Southeast Asia (including: Brunei, Burma / Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam).
The news service will report marine and coastal news in the areas of: Marine and Coastal Legislation, Policy and Planning, Coastal Zone Management, Marine Protected Areas, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Climate Change, Marine Invasive Species, Marine Species, Blue Energy and more.
